Scotcheroos (Rice Krispie Treats)
This recipe has nothing to do with healthful eating, but it sure is good.

You will need a buttered 9 x 13 cake pan.

INGREDIENTS
1 cup sugar
1 Cup Light Corn Syrup
1 Cup Peanut Butter
7 Cups Rice Krispies
1 Cup Chocolate chips
1 Cup Butterscotch chips

Rice Krispie Bed
In a Heavy Small saucepan combine sugar and corn syrup
Over medium heat stirring constantly bring this mixture to a boil.
remove from the Heat and let the mixture cool slightly.
Add peanut butter and mix well.

Put all of the rice krispies in a large bowl
Pour the peanut butter/sugar mixture over the top of the rice krispies
Combine rice krispies and the peanut butter mixture.
(use a rubber spatula because the mixture will not stick to it so much)


Frosting - If you want to call it that
In a double boiler melt and stir the butterscotch chips and chocolate chips until smooth.
Pour over rice krispie bed and spread evenly

You may want to let it cool for a few minutes and then cut the entire pan into small portions as once it sets up they are very hard to cut.
